HYDERABAD: Film director Pawan Sadineni was arrested by Golconda police following a complaint by a woman artist, who alleged that he cheated her on the promise of providing work opportunities.

According to the complaint, the artist alleged that Sadineni lived with her for a long period and sexually exploited her.
She further alleged that he promised to marry her but later refused to do so, thereby cheating her.
